Spice Girls are together again! Mass media had been discussing the rumors about their reunion for a long time. But now girls officially state they are going to reunite for a world tour. They plan to give 11 concerts.
That will be their first common performance from the moment they decided to end their career in Spice Girls, 2001. There will be all 5 of them including Ginger Spice – Gerry Halliwell who left the band in 1998 to start her solo career.
Gerry says she is very excited about the project.
As group participants say they will give concerts in Los-Angeles (December,7), Las Vegas (December,8), New York (December,11), London (December, 15), Cologne (December, 20), Madrid (December, 23), Beijing (January, 10), Hong-Kong (January, 12), Sydney (January,17), Cape Town (January, 20), Buenos Aires (January, 24).
Recently Halliwell and Beckham together with Melani Sporty Spice, Emma Banton and Melani Spice Scary Brown organized a press-conference to be pictured together and tell about their future plans.
But it will not be a reunion forever. They just feel they are ready to do it now or never. That will be their ultimate farewell tour. At the beginning some of the participants did not like the idea about the reunion because they thought it would never be possible to remake the band so gorgeous and unusual as it was at the height of its fame. But later they changed their minds.
Let us remind you that the group was created in 1994. The first single Wannabe appeared in 1996 and became extremely popular all around the world. They sold 55 mln copies of their albums. In all there were three of them. The latest one – Forever – was launched in 2000 without Gerry Halliwell. In 2001 they decided to stop the band's existence.
The most popular of girls is considered to be Victoria Beckham who is named the “style and fashion icon”.
