The story of 29 years-old Russian woman who gave birth to five baby girls made a sensation at the end of 2007.
The woman had some troubles with health and namely problems with having a child. When she finally got pregnant after a course of fertility treatment, it turned out she would be a mother of five daughters! Moscow doctors insisted to abort some of unborn babies to save the life of the future mother and others babies.
But Varvara and her husband Dimitri, 29 year-old maths professor, are Russian Orthodox church members. They refused to follow the instructions and went to a London medical center for help.
After the delivery the girls were separated and spent months apart, but they have grown stronger every day. Finally doctors have decided they are healthy enough to live together and to join the family.
The happy father of five miracles - Elizaveta, Varvara, Nadezhda, Tatiana and Alexandra - says they were delighted to have all their babies together and out of hospital.
The happy parents are proud of their daughters and very thankful to the doctors and nurses who helped them.
Dimitri and Varvara Artamkin hope to return to their Russian home in March. At the moment they rent a small flat in London.
The story of Artamkins family is an example of courage, faith and determination.
